Our Applicant Tracking System further increases productivity and reduces cost by allowing applicants to complete an on-line application from their terminal or at the client’s location. It provides a simple dashboard to manage all applicant activity. The system enables the client to: control or eliminate applicant traffic at facilities, pre-screen applicants prior to inviting them for an interview, eliminate paper, communicate with the applicant via preformed emails, and order the background check automatically once the applicant has accepted the offer.

 "Pinkerton belongs to the National Association of Public Background Screeners (NAPBS) to ensure we stay current with up-to-date information regarding best practices, as well as the legal requirements that affect our industry and policies that relate to background screening. We require our subcontractors to also be members that have qualified under the high standards and criteria.

 We are listed under the Safe Harbor Privacy Program, which certifies that our company adheres to the safe harbor framework developed by the Department of Commerce in coordination with the European Commission. The safe harbor provides guidance for U.S. organizations on how to provide "adequate protection" for personal data from Europe as required by the European Union's Directive on Data Protection.

We are one of the only, if not the only, security company that provides pre-employment investigations that has been certified by the Department of Homeland Security for the Safety Act. We were awarded a Certificate of Safety Act Designation. This significantly limits our liability and that of the client in the event of a terrorist act."
